Love Poem: To All

Voices shrunk by darkness,
the breakage of our bodies,
love—the unspeakable
layers—

glancing to
the chilled songs
somewhere beyond

that noise,
that beautiful noise

that is not in me
or you
or anything,
is not in us
but is us
like nakedness

we are right now
we always have been

between living and fearing
always complete
when there is nothing
but the gradual swell
of our small, small, existence

of the I
and the you
coming to we
coming to recreate
a devouring world
